The McDowell Sonoran Conservancy offered a Two-hour Bird Walk Hike at Brown’s Ranch Park in North Scottsdale. As a newbie birder, I registered for this event because it piqued my interest AND because I am trying to learn birding by participating in as many birding events as possible.
More than thirty people registered for this particular Bird Walk Hike and ALL were waiting at the Brown’s Ranch Ramada for the start of the 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. hike. Because there were so many participants (the hosts shown below) divided the group: two groups of 16.
Following are photos I captured of the Bird Hike (I remembered to bring my binoculars!). Future posts will indicate the type of bird (when I learn their name!!)
