I viewed this movie at the Harkins Camelview 5 Theatre.  Wadjda, Director Haifaa Al-Mansour; distributor Sony Pictures Classics.  Wadjda, a 10-year old living in Saudi Arabia, who is constantly pushing “buttons” to see just how far she can go. Wadjda is a young, female rebelette, she speaks her mind.  Wadjda is determined to own a beautiful green bicycle so that she may race her friend, Abdullah.  The movie takes us on Wadjda’s journey to make that beautiful green bicycle hers. A story about friendship, a story of determination at all costs. It’s about a mother-daughter relationship; a father daughter relationship. It’s a must see movie – guarantee you will enjoy!
