Did you know Estrella Mountain Regional Park has 19,340 acres of desert and mountains, AND it became the “first” regional park in Maricopa County in 1954. Cool! I had the privilege of visiting the park recently when the Red Tail Hawk was released back into the wild after many months of rehab. Following are photos I captured of “critters” in the Park’s Nature Center on the day the Red Tail Hawk was released. I hope you enjoy the photos.
