Well, maybe not a REAL peacock; we’re talking White Peacock Butterfly.  “The White Peacock Butterfly makes its home in both South Texas and South Florida; strays north to Kansas and Massachusetts, also much of the tropics. Resident of Argentina north through Central America, Mexico, and the West Indies. The official name for the White Peacock is Anartia Jatrophae.”  You can view this lovely butterfly in the Butterfly Pavilion at the Desert Botanical Garden now through mid-May. I captured this during my second visit to the Butterfly Pavilion.
