The Spring Butterfly Exhibit is happening now through May 12 in the Desert Botanical Garden, “Maxine and Jonathan Marshall Butterfly Pavilion.” Oh my gosh!! Talk about feeling like a child in a candy store! I entered the Butterfly Pavillion (only 60 people are allowed at one time) and was not ready to witness hundreds, HUNDREDS of butterflies gliding from flower to flower sipping nectar! The Pavillion is loaded with plants that actually attract the butterflies. Amazing! Even more amazing to me was watching and listening to the children interact with the butterflies – they oohed and ahhed their way through the Pavillion. The Butterfly Pavilion is open daily, 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Don’t miss it!!
A young child’s hand , waiting, and hoping for a butterfly landing!
