The MIM (200,000 square foot building) was founded by Robert J. Ulrich, former CEO and chairman emeritus of Target Corporation. He and his friend (Marc Felix) came up with the idea after visiting the MIM in Brussels, Belgium. The MIM represents instruments and artifacts from more than 200 countries and territories around the world. A recent visit to the MIM led me to the gift shop where I was immediately impressed with their collection of masks (I collect masks). Here are a few I captured during my visit.
