During my trip to Sicily in 2011 I was amazed at how the country’s landscape was very similar to Arizona’s landscape; I was also surprised and amazed how similar their rain storms were to the rain storms in Arizona (minus the dust storms).  I visited many towns during my 21 days in Sicily via public transportation; on one of my many trips I was able to capture the following photos of an approaching storm on my way back to Palermo. The photos reminded me of Arizona; the landscape, cloud coverage, etc.  I have been told by many that the landscape in Arizona and Sicily is VERY similar.  I totally agree!
