A favorite trail of mine in the Flagstaff area is Little Bear Loop. This is a scenic loop trail of about 8.5 miles. The trail intersects with Little Elden and Sunset trails and provides the hiker, or mountain biker with fantastic views of ponderosa pines, and Gambel oaks as well as beautiful aspens and firs.  Did I mention it’s cool, cool country, AND cool cool air? What better way to beat the desert heat than hiking in Flagstaff!
