I accepted an invitation to attend the Phoenix Greek Festive with some friends Saturday evening; it was my first time attending the Festival and was amazed at the huge crowd of people. We listened to music, watched the very talented Greek Folk Dancers; ate Greek food, drank Greek wine, beer, and perused the many, many jewelry, art, grocery booths. The admission was only $3.00. There is a $5.00 charge to park in the church parking lot, but I and another friend biked to the Festival. The Festival usually starts on a Friday and ends on a Sunday. Would I attend this festival again? ABSOLUTELY!! Following are a few photos I captured during the event (when I wasn’t eating/drinking!)
