I always make it a point to carry my Canon PowerShot S95 with me! I absolutely love the opportunity to capture a photo of anything that grabs me or catches my eye. Well…I was on my way to my scheduled neighborhood meeting, walking and desperately trying to find the meeting room. All of a sudden out of the corner of my eye I could see this spectacular, tall, gorgeous sunflower! I swear it stood beyond 7 foot tall – it actually stopped me in my tracks – holy cow! I just had to capture the photo and the only way to capture it was pointing my camera into the sun – no other way! Not bad. Afterwards I discovered that I stumbled upon the “Head Start” garden at the Paiute Neighborhood Center. The Head Start garden is teaching children ages 3-5 about growing fruits and vegetables. WOW! Lucky me!
