We observed this Snowy Egret snag this fish, recently, during a bird outing. There were hundreds of birds in the area watching and waiting for the Snowy to “release” his snag. Snowy nervously flew to the opposite side of the pond with his catch secure in its bill and where he slowly devoured his catch without a hassle.
