This weekend The Desert Botanical’s “Celebrate 75: It’s a Garden Party!” With free admission to the Garden. Following are photos I captured during the Garden Party.
The largest owl in Arizona is the Great Horned Owl with an average wingspan of 44″. Guess what! A Great Horned Owl attended the Desert Botanical’s “Celebrate 75: It’s a Garden Party!” And what a sight! Did you know there are 13 species of owls in Arizona? I captured this photo with my zoom lens from a distance.
This fella was interested in my lunch. He hung out on a table next to me the entire time I was eating; I did not feed him!!!
A beautiful butterfly in the Vegetable Garden area of the Garden.
