Our day began with a meet-up at Costco in Phoenix where we met a friend who organized our birding trip to the Sedona area. We were three enthusiastic birders who met early, early morning for a drive to Bubbling Ponds in the Sedona area for a two – three hour birding hike with a birding representative from Friends of Sedona as our guide. We toured the area for approximately two/three hours, viewing hawks, herons, ducks, etc. After birding in Sedona we drove to a near-by park, Dead Horse Ranch State Park. The day was filled with amazing sites of hawks, eagles, turtles, great blue, ducks, and various birds as well as Arizona Grey squirrel.
