This film “Nebraska” is a laugh-out-loud funny/sad film about family, a film about father-son / family relationship too. Bruce Dern‘s performance in this film is amazing as the father, who is an alcoholic chasing a phony million dollar mail sweepstakes certificate and how his younger son decides to assist his father in claiming the father’s sweepstakes. Their journey will make you laugh-out-loud; will tug at your heart-strings and make you wonder what their destiny is.  Bruce Dern’s career dates back as far as 1960; he is to be applauded for his role in Nebraska as the aging patriarch.
