annual festival, Arizona, Certified Local Fall Festival, downtown Phoenix, top Valley restaurants
I rode my bicycle to Arizona’s Certified Local Fall Festival (the ninth annual festival), downtown Phoenix (Portland/Central). This was my first time attending and it will not be my last! Wow. A variety of vendors – hundreds of vendors, offering various products for sale. There were also many top Valley restaurants offering a taste of their food in exchange for one ticket (valued at $1.00). Did I mention beer and wine? Yep! Plenty of beer and wine and plenty of live entertainment throughout the many areas of the Festival. If you missed this event you will have to wait until 2014 to attend the next Arizona Certified Local Fall Festival – don’t miss it!
Lots of food to sample throughout the Festival!
The lines were 20+ deep with people waiting to buy beer from SanTan Brewery and Four Peaks Brewing Company!
The Verde Valley Railway “mascot.”
People arrived by car, light-rail, and bicycle (me!!) – lots of bicycles
