Did you know that many, many Condors die of lead poisoning? That’s true. The lead from ammunition is extremely dangerous to the Condors as well as humans. Lead is extremely toxic and can lead to death and long-term problems; the number one enemy of the Condors!
Following is a photo I captured of a Condor soaring above the Canyon during “our” recent visit to the grandest: Grand Canyon. Its wingspan ranges from 8.99 to 10.2 ft! They can weigh up to 23 lbs!
On the day I captured this photo we were greeted with a seasonal thunderstorm.
