Gertrude’s Restaurant in the Desert Botanical Garden opened its doors to the public January 2013. The restaurant is named for Gertrude Divine Webster the primary founder/backer of the Garden. The restaurant is unique in that it uses fresh ingredients grown on premise in raised-bed gardens, and items from local farm and pasture. The restaurant’s hours are 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily and features indoor and patio dining. Reservations are recommended. Following are photos I captured during my recent dining experience at Gertrude’s. If you decide to dine at Gertrude’s, I hope you enjoy the experience as much as I did!
