Received an invite from a “friend” to hike the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area – my first time hiking this beautiful area which is part of the Maricopa County’s Regional Parks System with 2,154 acres. The Cave Creek was flowing with water which made for wet feet having to cross the Creek several times to follow the Spur Cross trail. Wildflowers, did I mention wildflowers? WOW! Poppies, Penstemon, Blue Bells, Texas wildflowers, and Valerian, just to name a few. I am sure (and was informed) wildflowers will be at their peak during the next week or two. Following are photos captured during the hike. I hope you enjoy them.

Need I say more?
This is a mural on the Caretaker’s abode; picnic tables are also available directly in front of the mural.
