The Eye of the Storm was the film festival’s opening night film, directed by Fred Schepisi, from Australia.  With Geoffrey Rush, Charlotte Rampling, Judy Davis. The movie is funny, emotional, thought-provoking, provides an insight into relationships (personal as well as family). The movie is based on the novel by Nobel Prize winner Patrick White.
