Monument Valley is really in the State of Utah.  When you decide to visit this spectacular area, please, make sure you visit the Visitor’s Center – the Center is very informative and has lots of ideas/suggestions for you to enjoy the area.  And, if your vehicle has high clearance, don’t miss out on the 17 mile scenic drive loop; the loop has lots of scenery and lots of great photo opportunities. The road is not graded and is very bumpy and sandy, not good on a windy day in the Valley; although we did witness many passenger cars driving the scenic loop!  It will cost you $5.00 per person/per car to enter the Valley.  Following are just a few (of many) photos I captured during our visit to Monument Valley.
